Katie's wearing a new dress and tights set today. It makes her look really tall and very long legged. Bless her, she is neither.

We've got the boys with us for the day today, so we went there early this morning. Katie and I played a while whilst they were still asleep, before A joined us. The two of them had a big cuddle when I brought him in. H had a lie in before getting up to more excitement from Katie. When everyone was fe, dressed and clean we headed to tea and toast.

Katie and H played chase and catch (apparently two different games, but seemingly very similar - the key features being identical: fast running and fair amount of shrieking). They ate lots of toast between them and brought almost every toy from the play tables to the toast tables.

Whilst we were there, it had rained heavily so they had lots of fun puddle jumping on the way back to the car, although Katie sat in one so got rather soggy. We stopped at the shop for a couple of bits - which in itself is a mammoth mission, requiring the biggest of trolleys to sit everyone in and there are only about 3 (the big ones with the double toddler seat and large bottom bits).

They all ate therir lunch and now the babies are sleeping, H asked to watch some Toy Story, then we're going to go to the garden centre to burn off some energy in the soft play and see the fish.
