Foxy's got a new coat!!

Well, to be honest it's an old one that Marlane modified as it had become too tight for his body. She had already altered the legs because I used to roll them up! She's quite a seamstress and she added a strip of material from another old one to the underside.

Trouble is that when dogs have such short legs they get very mucky when going for a walk in the wet. Their little feet seem to throw the dirt up onto their undersides. Although Foxy is easier to dry off and clean I still like to have his underside covered. We started to get the coverall waterproof jackets for Jonty, he's dreadful to clean off having a much softer fur and it tends to curl when it gets wet.

Jonty hates having his 'coat' on and, even though he knows we are going for a walk he will try to hide if he sees me getting his coat out.
