Seby Abbey and Monday Market

Went though to Selby between the showers and the sunshine. We arrived about lunchtime to see what goodies were to be had at the market ... and yes ... money was spent.

The main image is Selby Abbey ... this grand old lady of worship and architecture is a mere 1000 years older than me and has stood though peace and through war. Lots of history to be had. Definately stunning in the sunshine ... and although the sign shows men at work ... I think they were having a well earned tea break.
