Oooh! A lovely pair of buns...

I started baking my own bread at the beginning of 2009 and have never looked back. I found that even a lacklustre result had a better taste than almost anything bought at the supermarket.

I baked my usual two loaves on Sunday but got carried away with the amount of water I added to one of the doughs and, compensating with extra flour, ended up with more dough than I needed.

I made these two rolls from the leftovers and had them with dinner tonight. This is one of my favourite recipes - pumpkin and sunflower seed - the pumpkin really gives a great colour to a loaf!
