Hey shi fu!
Shi fu is an interesting Chinese word... literally means "qualified worker, expert".
In everyday life it is used and abused (especially by foreigner) to address a multitude of people you don't know how to otherwise address in the correct way.
Shi fu is the worker that comes to your apartment to fix the leaking sink
Shi fu is the building guard in the lobby you ask where's the elevator
Shi fu is the bicycle keeper that is supposed to watch over your "2 wheels" while you are shopping
Shi fu is also my brave chauffeur that daily endure the unbelievable Shanghai traffic to safely ferry me and my family across this busy town.
In the picture another "shi fu" lost in Shanghai lean out of the window to ask for directions to my driver? team spirit compels to take the call and who cares if you stop in the middle of a 4 lanes interception!
