Wildlife in the Burbs

Was in my garage and hear a commotion outside on my driveway, looked out the front door to find a bird of prey (think a Kestrel) sitting on the hood of my car. Wondering what the hell was going on I opened the door only to find two of them flying away. I walked to the front of my garage and there was feathers and blood of one the the birds all over my driveway. The poor injured sole sat above my neighbours house for the longest time, think it's still hanging about somewhere. We managed to capture this wonderful picture of this poor beaten up marvellous greater. If I see it tomorrow hanging about I may need to call the bird sanctuary because this poor wee guy took such a beating. My daughter is devastated and wanted me to try and catch it, duh Bettyboo, not that freakin easy LOL. If I find it on land tomorrow, towels at the ready because we will do what we need to do to save this beautiful creature :-)
