did the "stairs" just behind the curling rink this morning. This involved going up and down eleven storeys' worth of steps 10 times, which we - David, Lorie, Starvey and I - managed to complete in 30 minutes.

Here is another man suffering as we did earlier as he approaches the top on his third run up: he was going to complete a total of 8 with the temperture at 26C.

Of note; you can see the Bow River in the background: Calgary town centre is to the left. The Rockies in the distance already have a fresh sprinkling of snow on them!!!
