I'm not so hungry now you mention it...

Given my recent bout of sickness I don't think I'll be needing any of these beans any time soon! This image was taken in York today, not far from Sainsbury's car park. It is a lazy crop from a wonky photo but it also represents a non-tourist 'minster' photo of the city.

We had a full on morning, dropping my sister at the train station to return to Hamburg, and spending over an hour in the Nationwide trying to work out cash charges when withdrawing money abroad. What I don't know about Visa charges and conversion rates is now not worth knowing. We also bought some Japanese Yen, it's very exciting to receive thousands of Yen in return for a few hundred quid! A thousand Yen is equivalent to approximately £8.50. We found a Japanese phrase book, Andy is working on his ability to speak Japanese, mostly by speaking English with a Japanese accent! My sister has given us a list of words which are the same or very similar in Japanese and English, one of which is 'toireto pepa'. Cheers sis!
