Fungus

This photo is taken in the Mastbos in Breda. There we Moorfotografie prepared a photo workshop in the context of autumn.

The fungus displayed is a kind of Bovist. In the Lowlands by the sea known as 'Aardappelbovist'. I couldn't find an English translation. The scientific name is Sceloderma citrinum.

But that makes the fungus not less deadly. One thing is clear: do you see fungus like this, let it be. Because it's deadly toxic! ... ;(
