The Day I Lost A Neighbour

My friend and neighbour John sadly died today. It was all so fast.

We should make the most of every moment because you never know when you are going to lose someone or have them lose us.

Too much recently I have got involved in trivial issues both at work and most definitely at home. It takes something dramatic to open your eyes to how much time is spent on nugatory topics.

This photo is of John's little dog Mia who is completely unaware that her owner is not coming home. I walked her this evening and she made the most of every moment splashing from rock pool to rock pool.

We all need more rock pools.
