Not a clue !

I have seen this fuzzie red ball growing on Dog -Rose in hedgerows all summer long ,i have no idea what it is .
I have now found out that this is Robin's Pin Cushion Gall Wasp. This is made by a Gall Wasp to lay it's larva in it.
