Fish Supper?

School holiday here today so as it was such a lovely day we decided to go to St. Andrews.

Hubby got it into his head that we would get a fish supper when we arrived and eat it on the beach. Had a lovely wander around St. Andrews, took some photos and hubby decided we would get a great fish supper in Crail. Although we said we thought we would be best eating in St. Andrews he insisted that people go to Crail for the fresh fish.
So, against our better judgement we headed back to the car and drove along the coast to Crail. Took a nice stroll around the harbour and eventually found the one fish and chip shop which was CLOSED.

Gave daughter and I so much ammunition to laugh at him. All was not lost as we found a really nice little cafe with an outside courtyard overlooking the sea.

Had loads of landscape type shots but this really summed up the day.

I had the coffee and walnut.
