Dr Barbie

New term, new cohort, and a new friend. This is Dr Barbie, with a badge that actually says that, and my wonderful present from Cheryl, who is a returning student completing her second year. I'm always asking for dolls and models to use for concepts of ratio and scale, and Cheryl has so kindly obliged. The significance is that Dr Barbie is there to watch over me, since I have been a little poorly over the summer, but now fit and back at the mill this week.
And I like the slightly off-focus look of a phone camera - she has that Elvira Madigan look that those of us old enough to remember will never forget, along with Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21.
