Another spectacular Monday. Our day off. We decided to jump on a train to a small town about 40 minutes from Shenyang. The town (2.7 million people is a town here in China remember) of Tieling. When we got off the train, we found a hotel (after about an hours walk) and checked in and then went for lunch at a tiny restaurant around the corner. As with a lot of those little places, the food was really good. Then we went for a walk in a huge forest area we had seen online this morning before we left. Lots of good stuff for pics. Red Squirrels and dragonflies everywhere as well as some very nice scenery.

For a good part of the walk, we could here some going ons over a very loud PA system.. It turned out there was an open air concert and they were rehearsing.. We went back for the concert tonight and it was really good. A dinner at another small place and then Blip and now...

Off to bed. It's been a great, but tiring day.

Oh yeah. During the concert I spotted the moon and got this rather nice picture of it.
