The 90th birthday

It's Mum's 90th birthday today. The sun is shining, people are calling, the phones are ringing. I even made scones, and they taste fine!

I wanted to capture a portrait of Mum on her special day. This one was taken when our friend, L, was visiting. I took some of them and then lined this shot up. It's not actually taken by me but I couldn't resist blipping it because you can see what a happy time we are having. (Portraits of me will be few and far between on Blip!!)

More people will be calling all day, so I thought I'd blip early while it is quiet over lunchtime.
