Night-time wanderer

Like so many others, haven't been feeling flash and was up wandering around at 3am. For want of something better to do as sleep didn't seem to be on the agenda, Karen's daffs were nicely shadowing on the floor.

Karen, my next door neighbour, has lived there all her life. Her father used to grow vegetables and flowers and sell them at the front gate, long before I moved here. They also have a small paddock of daffodils that border my place that come up each year, without any trouble. Karen picks enormous bucketloads of them and gives them to her friends.

These were delivered yesterday - a bright spot of colour and kindness in an otherwise gloomy day.
