Unexpected Strength

Since yesterdays Rainbows and Teacups blip, we cleaned the Cottage, played games with a special little boy on his birthday and spent 14 hrs at Bay Area Hospital with a 4 hr nap in between and a an race across town to where my beloved had set up my guitar and headset mic, 45 minutes of playing/singing then a race back to the hospital. Hmmm, I'm amazingly refreshed for the unexpected twists and turns of the last 34 hrs.

The 1931 Model A was spotted in front of the church. A very sweet man in our church parked it there and didn't know how badly I would need something in a hurry for a refreshing little blip moment in my day. Imagine, when they used to say, "put it in the trunk", they really meant the trunk!

The saying "Every True Strength is Gained Through Struggle" was painted on the wall above the nurses station on Mother Comfort wing of the hospital right outside her room (she is my beloved's mom). That fit too. She is doing well so far. Cheery and taking everything in stride and hopefully will mend quickly and be back home soon. I thought the saying actually fit this fine old auto as well. I suspect that the strength seen in this beauty came about because someone or a variety of someones have struggled to keep it looking fabulous! Life is like that. You get out of it what you put into it!

P.S. My camera performed so well today, I forgot it was wonky!
P.P.S. A rainbow two days in a row! Yesterday's rainbow on the wall and the one on the pavement right in front of the old car, reflected off it's bumper!
