Moon River....

Yes, it's Sunday Night, and no it may not be Crackerjack (which was actually Friday's those of you old enough to remember will have picked up!), but it is Pub Quiz night!

Now some would say tonight's quiz was easier than last week's, but they'll be the ones who knew the answers. We did pretty poorly tonight, in fact we were not last, but me knowing that the band named after the German word for Power Station was in fact, Kraftwerks, we would have been!

In fairness, when you get a subject that none of your team have a clue about, it becomes pretty hard, and we are all pretty mediocre at English history, but American history! Forget it! Who in England knows the Battle of Bunker Hill was fought in the American Revolution? And Gettysberg, well that's kinda well known here, but no, we get Fredericksberg? Who knows! One of the teams tonight obviously had an American amongst their number...cause they knew!

Then there was a whole section on the World Athletics event, been on all week....and not a one of has watched a single minute! 5 questions, may as well been asking us how many Australians have toothache right that second!

Ah well, at least it's fun and sets us for the beginning of another week, which I for one, am NOT looking forward to!

Dusk on the River was nice tonight as the sun put itself to bed and the moon came out to watch over us.

Well, half of it did!
