Both more and less

For the past couple of days I have developed liking for this. It's actually a very small piece of moss which is growing on a manhole cover in the front garden.

When you touch it it feels like a rich fur or velvet, it has a wonderful rich green colour and it is plush and raised like a wee hill. Sometime over the next week I will need to sort out the garden, a part of which will involve getting rid of the moss, but for now it can remain.

I am fond of this shot, which involved me being stared at by the neighbours while lying in the middle of the garden to get the shot. I like the fact it make the moss look more than it is, but is still very simple. When I look at this I can see a big green hill that you could sit on, in the sun and read your book. I think it would be peaceful
