McKenzie Marsh VIII

Grey and drizzly day today. Perfect weather for ducks, I suppose. And there were lots of them at the marsh today - mallards but also this female wood duck! Most were preening or splashing about getting clean. There were also two Great Blue Herons (too far away for my little pocket camera to get a decent photo of them) and only one little turtle on a log. I took Edward to see the marsh. He hadn't been in a long while. He remarked that with the new boardwalk into the marsh it reminded him of Sifton Bog in London which we visited and blipped yesterday. Nice boardwalk into the wet and muck and waters and woods. Lots of excellent blipping opportunities!
