Mela Day

I love Mela Day. ('Melon Day' if you are Rudy)

I don't love getting really excited about taking a bunch of photographs and then finding that somehow there is 'no memory card'. Bah. If you can imagine a load of the best photos that you have ever seen then that is what I would have done today. Of course.

So, instead we shall remember today without pictures and maybe this is not such a bad thing. We ate very well and played very well. And we had great company. Lisa and Evie are very special friends who we don't see nearly enough, but whenever we do it is hours of goodness.

And it was sunny. And Rudy made a woodpecker.
