The road home

Driving back from Mas Rolland where I'd gone to buy goats' cheese this evening I noticed how clearly I could see the division between garrigue and vineyards here. On the rocky hills there's a mix of wild olive trees, evergreen oak, lentisc, rosemary, thyme and cistus. The lower, flatter ground is cultivated, mostly planted with vines. Our village is just beyond the furthest hill.

I've just noticed that a year ago today was my 500th blip.
