Another first

Today was the first time I have run a proper 10k race (Salford 10k)....an actual proper race with other people. I thought I would record my time as a blip to remind me to do better next time. Really though I was quite pleased because I only decided to do the run this morning and managed to get a late entry and I haven't been running all summer. So to do under an hour was an achievement for me. And it was a lot of fun- the highlight was running through the tunnel at Old Trafford. Next time 52 minutes is my target....now for a lie down.
