Mood and interpretation.

Back blip:-

Image of clouds taken on the drive down to Edinburgh. Really wanted to try and capture the three dimensional feel to them. The sky was a brilliant blue punctuated by cotton wool, but the conversion to mono makes them feel more threatening and oppressive. The light reminds me a bit of a Dore engraving for the Divine Comedy. Wonder if, in the absence of colour reproduction, people got the same feeling...

Anyhoo... with the daughter safely inserted in new abode, we headed back home arriving just in time to see an amazing sunset over Strathmore.

PS If you stare at this for long enough you'll begin to see things. So far I've got a child with his mother by his side resting her head on her hand and one of those dogs / dragon's that you see in Chinese ceremonial art work. I can probably get him snorting out steam too.
