Alto Saxophone
The alto sax is a great musical instrument. The first time I heard of it was reading the credits on David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust LP in 1972.
Some names that have made this instrument sing: Charlie Parker, Johnny Hodges, Phil Woods, David Sanborn to name a few.
