Bevrijdingsdag

Today we celebrated the 5th of may, liberation day for the Netherlands. On the 5th there are always lots of free concerts in parks thourghout the country. The 5th is not only to celebrate the liberation in WW2, but also a day to celebrate freedom.

Today I went to my first bevrijdingsfestival ever (I grew up abroad) and had an awesome time. The weather was great (I even got a bit of a sunburn) and we lying around on the grass listening to different bands. Best band there was defenitely Nada Surf. Awesome!
