Night Vision?!

Well, it looks like my 365 blips got me into one of the local papers!

It has to be said, I wasn't expecting a big piece to be done. In actual fact, I wasn't expecting anything to be done, so was quite surprised when I got a phone call yesterday, and even more surprised today when...

...I'm flicking through the paper and not only do I find they've done a piece on my blips, but it's on the centre pages... and they chose THE MOST UNFLATTERING OF ALL MY SELF-PORTRAITS to use! (Though, to be fair, I don't blame them because it illustrates the point they were trying to get across!)

I also appear to have aged by 4 years! Perhaps I do actually look 31 and not 27? I definitely said 27. I know I did. I'm tired but I'm not THAT tired....!

Still, I am pleased that they felt my photographs were good enough to print!

It's also interesting to see what text is actually printed, too, given how long I was on the phone for and how much I talked about. I thought they'd be publishing a lot more from other things we discussed, but there we go; I realise it's the press and they select certain things for print for various reasons :)

Anyone who got that paper: I don't blame you if you didn't read the article and quickly turned the page. It's not a pretty sight, especially not in newsprint LOL!

I am still feeling really rather overwhelmed at the messages left for me yesterday - thank you all very much indeed.

I'll still blip, but maybe not as frequently. Though after a year this blipping thing becomes habit more than anything else!

I apologise that I've not had the time I'd like to dedicate to popping by to all my subscribers, and having a look at others' journals, too, leaving comments. Life gets in the way of such pleasantries!
