Special Celebrations

Today after a very hectic week I had a 1st birthday special celebration although I am not scheduled to start editing till I get back from NYC. Whilst I love taking photographs of people I love details shots like this, a 3 month year old baby and an adult hand, I seem to be really lucky catching moments like this as often the moment is gone in a blink of an eye.

This week I have last weeks wedding to edit and I have 7000 images to sift through from Grapevine, even though I do not have to individual edit the Grapevine images I do have to sift and put into folders according to the venue they were taken. A warning to people who decide to have a lens like the Canon 70-200 or Tamron 70 200 2.8 if you are shooting over a whole day with it , or in my case over 5 days be prepared for camera shoulder, have the deep heat ready it is very painful. Thankfully the Deep Heat did its job well and my shoulder eased enough to be able to attend day's shoot.

Please do take time to have look at my back blips from the last few days. I will try and catch up with you guys over the next few days before I head off for a well earned break to NYC ,although I can imagine I will come back with a few 1000 pictures. I think I will leave my 70-200 lens at home, as it is too heavy and wide angle shots are the order of the day in NYC but then again will I miss it, you decide
