Scrawny Old Man

Breaking through

Set off early for a hillwalk, drove through weather that was damp with low cloud at best, chucking it down at worst, met the group at the head of the loch between Ben Lawers and the Tarmachans, set off walking in the same weather. The ground was soggy and the burns were rushing down, but soon the weather began to clear.
We went up Beinn nan Oighreag - a Corbett, 909m so not far off Munro height if anyone's interested. It's name means Cloudberry Hill - did see a few cloudberry leaves.
This is the view from the top(ish) of the sun breaking through on Meall Ghaordaidh and Loch Lyon.

Edit - I don't mean it's the view from the top of the sun! I hope you know what I do mean.
