Monterey Bay Aquarium

We arrived unexpectedly late in Monterey last night. When we arrived it was foggy and freezing compared to Los Angeles! Luckily today the sun came out again and it was a nicer temperature. Still quite a big difference with LA though!

We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium today. The aquarium is located on the former site of a sardine cannery on Cannery Row in Monterey. It was quite a big aquarium and beautiful too. However, they mostly had local sealife, so we were a little bit disappointed that they didn't have more variation.
