Evening Sky

My apologies folks - went out for a curry last night and didn't post my blip.

This was the evening just around sunset. We had a summery day, it was warm and the sun was out! Photos like this will remind me in years to come that the summer of 2011 was pretty awful weather wise.

Overall, the UK received 126% of the normal August rainfall, and it's been much duller than normal with only 76% of average sunshine. Indications are that it's been the coolest summer since 1993.

But now September is here I'm hoping the weather will pick up with a final flourish befor winter sets in. Fingers crossed.
