Birthday presents

It's my birthday!

Paul has had these presents sitting in a big, blue Ikea bag, in the front room for the past fortnight. There was a time, many years ago, when I would hunt out my birthday and Christmas presents in my parent's wardrobes. Since then I've learnt the art of patience and I've been very good at leaving the bag of presents alone.

This morning though, I was allowed to touch and feel, poke and squeeze all of them before finally ripping all this lovely ape-wrapping paper of them.

He has got me some very nice things this year.
