Anyone for tennis?

Part II

September has offered us two lovely days so far. Thursday was sunny and glorious, today more grey but warm with sunny spells.

Could genuinely have played quite happily in shorts; Katie had to go off to the car to get her sunglasses in the middle of playing. I'd forgotten that a vital piece of tennis equipment is actually the baseball cap!

Pleasingly there seemed to be a lot of people taking advantage of the good weather, spending the last day of the summer holidays in the park (and Thornes Park really is lovely), though still only three out of six tennis courts in use.
