The kiddos

Sooo... adventures continued, I babysat for my friend's Kiddos today. I haven't seen them in a few years now, so it was a little funny seeing how much they had grown (and really don't remember me).

It totally cracked me up that I was known most sincerely as "Miss Auntie Beth" for the first few hours until it turned into "Auntie Beth" by the end of the day. They were absolutely wonderful - and I don't just say things like that about children...even children I don't dislike... but I had a fantastic time. After my friend returned we all went to the park for a bit. Such fun!

Then Ladies Night was tonight. I love my ladies. I love love love love love them. It breaks my heart that so many of us are having such significant struggles in life right now, and it makes me wish there was something I could do to lighten the load.... but I suppose I know that all I can really contribute is to clean classrooms, pack belongings, and babysit children, and pray that it is enough.
