Until I get round to building some sort of secureish outside storage device, this is where it lives. If it's been raining, I'll fish a dust sheet out of the cupboard under the stairs to collect the strange black drips which would otherwise collect beneath the wheels as they dried. Current tasks requiring attention, roughly in order of priority: the barrel adjuster for the rear derailleur is broken, requiring replacement, though the adjuster at the downtube can be used in the meantime. The stock pads which came with the new front brake are shite, but one of the worn-out inserts from the old front brake can't be removed until I un-seize the insert-retaining bolt. I need to adapt the rear mudgard whose clip broke to fit into the clip for the front mudguard to help protect the new brake and fork. As the home-built rear wheel is holding up excellently I'll build an equivalentish one for the front at some point.

A slightly more interesting interpretation of bikeportrait consisting of trying to take a picture sideways whilst riding past a large window failed on the way home this evening, but will be re-attempted some other time.
