The Birds

Fantastic day weather wise so we all headed off to New Lanark so that son and I could photogaph the Peregrine Falcons that are nesing there.

On the way up past the Falls of Clyde I snapped this. about an hour later when we came down I snapped this one. As you can see the water volume is about half that of the first one.

I can only assume that the sluces further up the river had been shut.

The boardwalk up the side of the river was very busy - but nothing like as busy as the edge of the river. This school of fish continued for about 12 feet.
