Harvest Bales of Straw - 102

Today I have been looking after my grandchildren again. I worked all morning and then this afternoon we played ?Risk? again.

I made a conscious decision today, only to take my small point and press camera, as I had already taken some nice greenfinches on the feeders. This was a bad move; today a heron visited her garden pond. The pond does not have any fish in it, so the heron did not stay long, but it would have been long enough if I had been ready with the correct camera and lens!

On the way home I noticed that the field where I blipped the combine harvester on the 22 August 2011 now shows the straw has been baled and I decided that this made a much better picture than the greenfinches.
