This is my friend Emma. She has been visiting with me for almost a week. It has been wonderful to have someone to talk with outside school. We went to "Gu Gong" today. It is the original Forbidden city. It was built when Shenyang was the main residence of the Emperor. Later the Emperor moved and the new Forbidden City. The more famous one in Beijing across the street from Tiananmen Square.
