I don't know whether The Lass does it ''a-porpoise'', but every time we dash off to Keswick...mysteriously, it's market day.

Thursday was a touch of multi-tasking.

Off to Keswick for some ''Cornish nasties'' which now have 
P.G.I. status, coming home via the Birds' Bistro and the Hoss-muck factory.

Whilst wandering Keswick market there was a bloke with a good line of patter on Poly-Gel, which can, allegedly, be used for flower arranging, hydroponic growing, starting seeds &/or cutting and is, supposedly, different from the stuff you mix in with your soil as a water retainer.

What the hell? It's not an arm and a leg,lets give it a whirl.

On the left...1 teaspoonful of Hydro gel.
On the right... What's left of the 1 ltr of water in which it was soaked.
