30 day challenge 21: pretty pattern

This is a study from The Arban Cornet Method, a study book I used at college, and used by brass player today around the world, even though it was written in France in the 1800s.

I've always been fascinated by the way music looks on the page, and these very dry studies, to my eye at least show wonderful patterns, that as musicians we try to emulate in sound; their perfect line and symmetry. Something I can't help feeling I fail comprehensively at pretty much every day...
