We're on the march with Ally's army

In memory if more positive thinking times, and in view if Scotland's upcoming games in the Euro Qualifiers, here is a beer mat from 1978 of Ally McLeodfrom Tenant's set of the team that went to Argentina for the world cup. Well we all know how that ended. But we went into it very positive, with hindsight over positive.
Last year we went to visit some friends who live in a place called Livingston Manor in the Catskill mountains in upstate New York, Cat and Lois are their names. Lois is from Argentina, and I brought him over a retro Scotland football top that the team wore in the 1978 World Cup. The shirt bore the number 15. Which was the number worn by Archie Gemmel, the scorer of one of the most famous World Cup goals of all time.
Lois had never heard of him or the goal, so I found it on YouTube and showed it to him. And here it is for your enjoyment also.
Lois wore Archie's shirt all last summer and it was popular in his home town of Rosario when he went back for a visit also.
