It's Been A Summer

But it's steadily coming to an end. The blackberries have ripened in the hedges around Aldcliffe, and I went out to find some bunches to photograph, only to discover that somebody had been along and picked them all. No wonder society's in such a state when people go around helping themselves to stuff that's free.

They didn't get this one, though. Mmm...floor-blackberry.
