Northern Skies (on a sunny eve)

today I finally managed a blip which didn't involve being around the house or some link to miserable weather! today the sun actually came out!, it might have missed what is traditionally deemed 'summer' and a little late for the final long bank holiday weekend, but nevertheless it graced us with a few warm sunny rays on a Thursday afternoon.
today's blip was on a walk into the leftovers of our industrial town, to meet my mother for a nice meal, on what would have been my Dad's birthday (god rest his soul, or maybe he's dancing with the devil, whichever is the most fun ha) - so quite a touching and apt blip image, a heavenly, serene sun setting over a harsh silhouette of a past its best day small town, (it still has a few endearing qualities, mainly the people, the good larger than life character people, its history, the usual of what's left of old northern industrial towns) I've said it previously, doesn't matter where you are, if you look high enough the sun in the sky looks beauudiful wherever you are...
