Rabbits

Anybody else mutter that word to themselves this morning? Being the 1st of September and all that.

Had a free night , unusually for a Thursday night, so made the most of it and went to see 'One Day' at the cinema. A good film despite reading the book first. I seem to be disappointed at books that are made into films as the film doesn't live up to the book, but this was different.
Spotted these reflections at The Scottish Executive when I was leaving so made a stop.

Well no Inspection at work today which we were all disappointed about, we had psyched ourselves up to it, but it was not to be. That 's the thing with unnannounced inpsections , you just never know when it's going to happen.

Text from mum when she arrived in Majorca , so far so good, she has been given a double room, with coffee, tea facilities, fresh fruit and biscuits in the room. Also a bath robe and slippers. A cocktail on arrival too. Gosh she is good to herself:)
We'll see how the week pans out for her.
