Eight little elephants

Today I joined for a slow paced groupride organized ad hoc by the local road warriors at the bike forum. The idea was to add one weekly ride to act as a starting point of those not so experienced/fit riders. When the pace is kept slow there is change to get good exercise and also learn the group riding skills at the same time.

Total eight riders showed up, few of us with more experience. We agreed the route and the pace and started the ride. It had rained during daytime but the streets were already getting dry and the first half of the ride was fun. After the short break few headed back home and the rest continued to next village near Oulu.

After 60km I had a flat tire and when changing the tube found a small piece of glass at the outer tire. Have to remember to fix also that before weekend and add new spare tube to my kit. The last half hour it rained so the dark clouds were there for reason ;) Total lenght of the ride 75km with the average speed of cozy 26km/h.
