A greeny!
When we lived in the UK we used to have a guy come round to our house every couple of months and we would have a 'wine tasting', his name was Kenton Hackney, a great character. He would normally bring a dozen bottles of wine, 6 red and 6 white for us to taste, you were supposed to spit the wine out, but I drank it, why waste it!! We were one of his 'poorer' customers, in as much we only spent about 100gbp on his wine. We were usually his last customers of the evening and he would stay until quite late, he would then leave us any bottles of wine that he felt we would like but couldn't afford, as they had ben opened and tried by his customers. He also did us a 'greeny' this was an invoice without the VAT, saving us a few more pounds.
We now have a new wine rep, he is the son of one of our golf colleagues. Unfortunately we have to pay the VAT but we do get the wine at cost price. The dozen bottles we have just bought have a retail value of 160 euros, we got them for 59.34 euros, a bargain.
