Pond

-ering.

Work is progressing at a reasonable pace but we are on Plan D now with the pond. This is due to the unforeseen gas pipe (which may be seen in the pic LOL)

So it isn't going to be as deep as I would have wished. It ought to still be able to ensure some thermal stability though and an area that wont freeze more importantly.

On the plus side, a shelf is no bad idea as different plants like different depths, so this can be turned into a bonus!

I delivered a card and pressie plus flowers to my Aunty Amy ready for her birthday tomorrow (working fri,sat,sun so early is better). Uncle Stanley has been a fish keeper since before I was born, so I took the opportunity to get some advice. Bless, he's riddled with arthritis and on loads of medication for psoriasis and diabetes but insisted on showing me his golden and ghost carp. He also wants to take me fish and plant choosing to somewhere near Bingley. I look forward to that! :-)

More importantly, today my Step Daughter had her first scan at 12 weeks of pregnancy. All fingers and toes have been crossed and thankfully all is well. At some point she's bound to get blipped but it may have to be retrospectively.
