On this mornings walk.............

I have passed this tree quite a few times, admiring its long shinny leaves; they shimmer beautifully in the breeze. I had never realised it was a hedgehog tree. This one has several hundred baby hedgehogs growing in it. Soon they will ripen, turn brown and be off, raiding saucers of milk all over town. I thought about taking one home, the boys would probably like them a lot until they meet the prickles.
