Green Door (soon)

Day 3 of the kitchen project and the main development today has been the installation of the new back door. As this is a conservation area, it had to match the old one and of course it's a non-standard size - custom made at great expense. I'm very pleased to get rid of the leaky catflap, the rotted frame and the non-functioning lock. Once the installation is complete, it will be painted dark green and have brass locks and bolts.

Plastering starts tomorrow, then a bit of a pause until the new windows are delivered.
