Natural sculpture

What is it then?
I've decided it is about time I began to learn a bit more about my camera and have been playing around with the metering settings, and printed out some bits of the manual so I can study them at leisure.
It has been grey all day today but dry so I wandered round the garden trying things out. This was the penultimate shot of about 55.
